Killer occult doom. The slightly husky female vocals, along with the modern (is “post-doom” a thing yet?) production and songwriting puts this in the company of a rare few bands that stand apart from the pack: The Mansion, Tornet, and… maybe that’s it. Lute FP
Medicine Horse honors their ancestry and chosen traditions the way that comes most naturally—heavy fuckin’ metal. Sure the plains-folk didn’t have double-kicks or amp stacks, but can you imagine if they did? Maybe we would have gotten sooner this curious doom/sludge amalgamation that lurks with folky narratives and loudness-pumped riffs alike. With the kind of passion on display, we’d be wise to watch Medicine Horse for whatever else may come. progdolphin

Love this! Both pre - release songs are excellent! Very different to each other also. Can't pick a favourite between them! Really looking forward to the rest of the album. Greetings from Ireland. aodan2020
